UPDATE: Car vs train accident blocks railroad crossing in Seekonk

SEEKONK, MASS (WLNE) – Seekonk Police announced on Twitter Wednesday morning that there was a car vs train accident.

According to Police, the accident happened on Newman Avenue.

The are of the railroad crossing was blocked due to the crash.

Traffic was detoured away from the area and no injuries have been reported.

Police announced the reopening of New Avenue around 11:30 A.M.
