FALL RIVER, MA (WLNE) – A 32-year-old man was arrested for forcing his way into a home and smoking narcotics with the owner present.
According to the Fall River Police Department, two women were allegedly followed by a man, identified as Joshua Fournier, of Fall River, who had forced himself into a nearby home owned by one of the women, and proceeded to smoke narcotics.
Fournier offered the narcotics to the home owner who politely declined.
Authorities say the friend of the homeowner was allowed to leave, and once the homeowner explained that she had to go pick up her daughter, Fournier allowed her to leave as well.
Upon leaving her home, the unidentified homeowner contacted police.
It wasn’t until a phone call came in around 3:50 p.m., that officers were able to track down Fournier.
Police responded to the corner of Wilcox and Wall Streets, for the report of a suspicious male with a gun in his waistband.
When police arrived they found Fournier with a BB-gun in his waistband, a large knife, and what appeared to be 28 grams of heroin.
Neither of the women were injured during the incident.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
