Mother of ‘Baby Doe’ testifies in court

Boston, M.A. (WLNE) – The mother of 2015 Jane Doe mystery, Bella Bond, testified against former boyfriend in murder trail.

Prior to the testimony, Rachelle Bond discussed losing custody of her other children and her previous drug abuse. On the stand, she attested to witnessing former boyfriend Michael McCarthy’s abuse the night of the murder.

“I will kill you!,” stated McCarthy, as a threat to Bond, after he punched baby Bella in the stomach.

After McCarthy hit Bella, Bond tried to give her daughter cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), until she passed out. She admitted to bagging Bella’s body, which was found on Deer Island.

Bond returns to the court on Monday morning.
