NORTH BRANFORD, Conn. (WLNE) — A Connecticut high school is being teased for a sign outside its doors because of a misspelled word.
The sign spelled the word entrance with an extra “e,” but officials at North Branford High School say the sign has been outside the school doors since August.
They only realized the error after a local radio station joked about it on the air.
“We had a good laugh this morning. I’ve probably driven by that sign a thousand times but you’re not paying attention, you’re coming and going,” said Superintendent Scott Schoonmaker.
The sign was made by an outside company. The sign will be donated for an upcoming charity event.
