Funeral for Billerica victim, auction reopens

BILLERICA, Mass. (WLNE) — The LynnWay Auto Auction in Billerica is reopening its doors for the first time since a deadly accident killed three people including two from Rhode Island.
A funeral will be held Wednesday for one of those Rhode Island victims, 48-year-old Brenda Lopez.
Lopez along with 49-year-old Pantaleon Santos from Rhode Island were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Leezandra Aponte of Lowell died at the hospital.
A prayer service will be held before Wednesday’s auction.
Nine people were injured when an employee lost control of a jeep crashing it through a wall.
