PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Rhode Island Hospital had to be put on lockdown Sunday morning after people visiting the victims involved in a shooting in Providence got into a physical argument inside the emergency department.

The hospital’s lockdown ended at approximately 4:10 a.m. after more than 20 people were removed from the property by security and police.

The shooting happened around 2 a.m. Sunday outside Club Luv on Valley Street.

The club is now closed until at least the next Board of Licenses hearing scheduled for Wednesday.

All of the shooting victims are recovering.
