Man found injured in Manville parking lot, dies from injuries

MANVILLE, R.I. – Lincoln Police received a call around 1 a.m. Wednesday of a man lying on the ground in a parking lot on Summer Street in Manville.

Upon arrival, officers found the person unresponsive and bleeding from a laceration to his head.

The man was transported to Landmark Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.

The cause of death is still under investigation and does appear suspicious.

The Lincoln Police Department along with the Rhode Island State Police are investigating the incident.
