Ortiz makes a splash at Quincy YMCA

QUINCY, M.A. – David Ortiz surprised some members at the YMCA during a water aerobics class in Quincy this week.

The retired slugger was in the pool while the class was going on.

The instructor had a little fun with Ortiz and waved her Red Sox towel at him, and even played "Sweet Caroline," as her class sang along.

Ortiz was at the YMCA to film a commercial for John Hancock.
