Connecting Art with Audiences: FirstWorks Live concert series continues Sunday

Music at Roger Williams Park “Carnival” event featuring headliner Etienne Charles kicks off at 1:30

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The six week live music concert series continues at Roger Williams Park Sunday.

The special “Carnival” and concert will feature Trinidad-born jazz trumpet master Etienne Charles.

“To think in real time and experience in real time, maybe to dance, maybe to play an instrument , to talk,

to eat and to be outside.” FirstWorks Executive Artistic Director, Kathleen Pletcher told ABC News.

The FirstWorks Live concert series culminates with PVD Fest in September.

Sunday’s event kicks off at 1:30 at Roger Williams Park.
