Car Crashes Into Acushnet Business on Easter

ACUSHNET, M.A. – A motor vehicle struck a business on Middle Road and fled the scene, causing extensive damage authorities say.

 According to the Acushnet Police Department, around 3:00 a.m., Easter Sunday morning, officers received a 911 call from a neighbor about the accident.

After gathering evidence, officers were able to find the motor vehicle in question a few miles north of the initial accident.

The driver was charged with Marked Lanes Violation and Leaving the Scene of Property damage.
