Police investigating fatal crash in Raynham

RAYNHAM, M.A. – Raynham Police are investigating what caused a fatal car crash on Sunday.
Officers deduced 34-year-old Michael O’Brien of South Easton, M.A., was travelling westbound on Elm Street at a high rate of speed when the vehicle lost control, crossed into the eastbound lane and struck a tree.
O’Brien suffered serious injuries and was transported to Morton Hospital where he was pronounced dead by medical personnel.
The unidentified passenger was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital with minor injuries.
