Woman nearly drowns in Warwick, saved after ten minutes of CPR

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) – A woman spotted floating in the water at Oakland Beach was transported to the hospital conscious and alert Wednesday evening.
Warwick Police say a bystander spotted the woman in the water and pulled her to safety. First responders happened to be nearby and jumped in to help.
CPR was administered for ten minutes until a pulse could be felt and she started to breathe.
When she was transported to the hospital, she was alert and talking.
