Providence police investigating shooting on California Avenue, no victims reported

The shooting happened just before noon on Tuesday.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Investigators from the Providence Police Department are on the scene of a shooting on California Avenue.

The shooting happened at around 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

An ABC6 photographer at the scene said that there is a crime scene set up around 22 shell casings on the ground.

Major David Lapatin with Providence Police Department has confirmed that no one was shot.
