House fire on Hopkins Hill Road leaves residents displaced

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) – Coventry Police and Fire Departments responded to the report of a house fire on Hopkins Hill Road, Wednesday morning.

Fire Department personal arrived at 66 Hopkins Hill Rd to an active fire and began to extinguish it, shutting down a portion of the road.

All of the residents were able to escape the house and no injuries were reported.

The Red Cross is now assisting the displaced residents and Rhode Island State Fire Marshal’s Office will be conducting an investigation.
