Amtrak Suspends Thursday Morning Service Between Philadelphia and Boston Because of Weather

Providence, RI (WLNE) – Amtrak has suspended trains between Philadelphia and Boston with an initial departure before 9am Thursday.

Amtrak said the suspension is because of the severe weather and heavy rain in the northeast corridor.

If your trip is affected, call 1-800-USA-RAIL for more information. Amtrak says change fees and cancelation fees will be waived.

The company says crews are making repairs and conducting inspections in order to get service running again.
