DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE)- The Dartmouth Police Department arrested a man who had seven arrest warrants on Sunday.
Police arrested 28-year-old Jesus Torres of New Bedford at a local Lowe’s at about 1:20 p.m.
The department responded to the North Dartmouth Mall after getting a call from someone who had spotted the wanted Torres.
An officer encountered Torres, causing the suspect to run towards the Lowe’s. Police say he refused to stop and ran into the store.
The suspect hid behind some boxes inside of the store. Officers quickly found him and placed him under arrest.
