9/11 memorial flag display at Boston Public Garden damaged overnight

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE)- Several flags that were placed in the Boston Public Garden in honor of 9/11 victims were found damaged on Thursday morning.
Members from Project 351, an independent nonprofit organization, planted 2,997 flags in the 9/11 Garden of Remembrance on Wednesday.
Some of the flags were found lying on the ground broken, after being uprooted overnight.
The Garden of Remembrance was finished in 2004 and commemorates the more than 200 victims with ties to the Bay State.
