Juvenile busted for illegal possession of 4 firearms

CHELSEA, M.A. – A 17-year-old male has been arrested for illegal possession of a firearm after Massachusetts State Police seized four firearms from a traffic stop last Friday.

Authorities say troopers pulled over the minor for general motor vehicle violations. 

However, when troopers saw the operator attempting to hide a questionable object in his jacket pocket, they ordered him out of the vehicle and found a loaded .380 automatic Lorcin pistol on his person.

During a further search of the car, three additional firearms were recovered, including a .357 Sig Glock, a 9mm Luger Taurus and a .45 Ruger revolver.

Massachusetts State Police also found several magazines and ammunition.

The operator was subsequently transported to the Canterbury Detention Center for Juveniles in Roslindale.
