UPDATE: Rhode Island State Police identify body found on I-295 South

JOHNSTON, R.I. State Police have identified the body found Friday morning on I-295 in Johnston.

Authorities say the body of 26-year-old Janelle J. Morris of North Providence was discovered at approximately 4:30 a.m. along 295 South.

One lane was closed to traffic for about two hours as police investigated the scene. All lanes have since reopened.

The Rhode Island State Police are investigating the incident.

No further information is available at this time.
