PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Volunteers came together to help replace the thousands of dollars worth of costumes stolen from Festival Ballet Providence.
People from all across New England rushed to get the work done in time for Friday’s debut performance.
Last month, more than 50 costumes were stolen while they were in a storage facility in Pawtucket including a Nutcracker mask that is valued at more than $2,000.
Nine dance companies from across the state and country are also lending some of their own Nutcracker costumes for the show.
