Truck strikes pole in Rehoboth, 2 sent to hospital

REHOBOTH, M.A. – Two people were sent to the hospital after a pick-up truck hit a telephone pole on Anawan Street Monday morning.

Crews say a truck struck and broke the telephone pole, causing the broken piece to fall on the roof.

The broken pole then rested in the bed of the truck. 

The two occupants were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Anawan Street was closed to traffic in both directions for around forty-five minutes.
