Somerset police searching for armed robbery suspect

SOMERSET, MASS. — The Somerset Police Department is searching for an armed robbery suspect who robbed Lil Audrey’s Market on Read Street Monday morning.

Officials say the man waved a knife and demanded money and cigarettes from the clerk.

Authorities described the suspect as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s with light facial hair.

The man was last seen wearing an oversized black jacket with a white emblem over the left chest area, black pants, and black sneakers with white soles .

Police also say that beneath the jacket was a green sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head, under that was a green hat.
