One injured after 3-car crash in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence Police are investigating a 3-car crash Sunday evening that sent one person to hospital.

Police say it happened around 6:30 p.m. on the 100 block of Vanderwater Street in Providence.

Three cars were involved in the crash. Police say one car hit a parked car, which tipped over and caused damage to another car nearby.

One person was taken to the hospital with a minor cut to the face. Police on scene say speed was a factor in the accident.

This is an ongoing investigation.
