NORTH PORT, Fla. (WLNE) – A heavy police presence was seen Wednesday morning at the Carlton Reserve in Venice, about 20 miles from the Laundrie home in North Port.

The Reserve is still closed as they are headed into their third week of investigation, searching for Brian Laundrie.

North Port Police vehicles, unmarked police Suburbans, fire trucks, excavation trucks and other emergency vehicles entered the park.

Throughout the day activity at the Reserve ramped up, and dozens of helicopters could be seen overhead.
