Glitch in Providence Place parking system overcharges some patrons

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – ABC6 News learned on Tuesday that glitch in the parking system caused over-charging for about two dozen people.

 “It is a small glitch being addressed by the technology provider and the parking management company, LAZ,” said Providence Place Mall spokesman Dante Bellini.

Authorities say since the installation, full refunds have been issued for each patron affected.

ABC6 News reached out to LAZ, but they could not comment on the situation.
