Brown University’s president joins in support of DACA

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Brown University is joining the conversation about illegal immigration.

President Christina Paxson has joined over 100 college and university presidents in the country in support of a program allowing undocumented immigrants who came to the US as children to remain in the states.

This is in response to President-elect Trump’s pledge to end the program, which was started by President Obama in 2012.
