Gronk Absent from Practice on Wednesday

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was missing from practice on Wednesday.  The injury report said he was out with a chest injury.  Gronk suffered the injury when he was hit by Earl Thomas of the Seahawks in the second quarter of Sunday’s loss.

Gronk’s availability for Sunday’s game at San Francisco is unknown.  

Tom Brady was not on the injury report.

Four players were limited in practice including Martellus Bennett (ankle), Julian Edelman (ankle), Chris Hogan (back), and Alan Branch (back).
