I-95 accident on Friday ends with Narcan

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) – Friday’s crash involving a truck results in rescue using the Narcan drug.
Rhode Island State Police state that Erik Ficazzola, age 29, of East Greenwich, was arrested and charged after crashing his truck into the medium on I-95 south near exit 10 Friday night.
Officials arrived on the scene it was apparent that there was significant damage done to the front of the truck, as well as the observations of the two individuals lying back with pale faces and blue lips.
That was when rescue administered Narcan several times to the driver and passenger of the vehicle.
Police state it had appeared that Ficazzola was driving under the influence and would not submit to a chemical blood test.
Both parties were transported to Rhode Island Hospital after regaining consciousness for further treatment.
It is said that Ficazzola will be in Third District Court later this month on November 15.
