Wheelchair bound woman assaulted at Twin River Casino, police search for suspect

LINCOLN, R.I. – Lincoln Police are searching for a man who assaulted two people at Twin River Casino on Friday, one of them being a woman in a wheelchair.

Police say 24-year-old Napoleao Pires shoved a 47-year-old woman in a wheelchair to the ground after taking off with her wallet.

Pires also assaulted the woman’s friend who tried to help and then took off.

According to surveillance footage, Pires appears to be 6’1” with black hair, and brown eyes, and about 190-200 pounds.  

Pires is believed to reside in the area of Main Street, in Pawtucket.

Both victims suffered minor injuries.
