Two-way traffic changes coming to Apponaug

Traffic changes are coming for drivers in Warwick.
Beginning Wednesday, the section of Post Road that runs along the eastern edge of Apponaug will change to two-way traffic. Right now, the road only allows one-way traffic headed north.
Drivers going by City Hall will now have to yield at the new West Shore Road rotary.
The traffic change affects drivers on Post Road between the new rotary at the intersection of Post Road, the Post Road extension and Veterans Memorial Drive and the new rotary at West Shore Road.
RIDOT is reminding drivers to drive slowly, yield to drivers already in the rotary, and follow signs.
Later this month, additional sections of one-way roads will change to two-way.
