UPDATE: Tractor trailer crash causes serious backups on 95 South

A jack-knifed tractor trailer caused serious delays on 95 South Wednesday afternoon.

Rhode Island State Police say they responded to a call just after 3 p.m.

Witnesses tell ABC6 a motorcyclist was involved in the accident which resulted in the truck hitting the center median near Exit 16.

The truck was blocking three lanes of traffic. All lanes have since opened up.

Rhode Island State Police say an investigation is ongoing.
