Warwick man convicted of molesting 7-year-old girl

WARWICK, R.I. – A Warwick man has been found guilty of molesting a 7-year-old girl.

A Kent County Superior Court Jury found 60-year-old Henry Bozzo guilty on one count of first degree child molestation after inappropriately touching the girl in September 2015.

Authorities say the young girl disclosed the abuse to both her mother and grandmother, who then reported the abuse to the police.

Prosecutors say Bozzo was a friend of the girl’s family.

Bozzo was also found guilty last May for possession of child pornography and was sentenced to 4 years suspended with probation, was forbidden from accessing computers and the Internet, and was ordered to have no contact with children.

He’ll be sentenced in January.
