Woman shot while watching TV inside June St. apartment, police say

Police are investigating a shooting in Providence where a victim says she was shot while sitting on her couch.
Around 10:15 Wednesday night a female victim was inside an apartment on June Street when several gun shots were fired from a vehicle outside.
The vehicle is described as a black or dark-colored SUV or station wagon, possibly an Audi, with a red-colored dashboard display.
The vehicle took off down June Street and onto Berkshire.
The victim was sent to Rhode Island Hospital with a gunshot wound. She says she was watching TV prior to the shooting. Two young children under the age of four had just moved from the area where the victim was shot just seconds prior to the shooting.
