16-year-old murder suspect added to Mass. Most Wanted Fugitive list

FALL RIVER, M.A. – A Fall River murder suspect has been added Tuesday to the Massachusetts Most Wanted Fugitive List.

16-year-old Jayden Smith is accused of fatally shooting 29-year-old Jerrod Cohen at his apartment on Plain Street on July 12th, 2016.

Smith is considered armed and dangerous, standing around 5 foot, 8 inches tall, and weighing 160 lbs.

Police say Smith has a tattoo of a six-pointed star on his hand.

Authorities are offering a reward of $1000 for any information leading to Smith’s capture.

16-year-old Joel Lopez has already been charged with murder in the case.
