Burrillville, R.I. — The application for a power plant in Burrillville has been suspended.
The developer met with the town’s energy board Thursday.
The board chose to suspend the application because the company did not provide information about its water supply source.
An attorney at the conservation law foundation says that was not the only problem.
“So we think our motion to dismiss the entire docket…may be granted because of Ivenergy’s failure…the water is the smallest part of it there’s a lot else that they have yet to do.”
The town council voted down the plant’s development in September.
