Tree cutting truck on 95 south catches fire

A truck fire on I- 95-south caused massive traffic delays Tuesday afternoon.
Rhode Island State Police told ABC6 the unidentified driver of the Mike’s Professional Tree Service truck noticed smoke billowing from the engine, and pulled over.
When the driver exited the vehicle, flames were clearly visible.
State Police say the back of the truck was filled with wood chips, but thankfully didn’t catch fire.
Fire crews were able to put the fire out, and the truck was towed away.
There were no injuries.
