UPDATE: Battalion Chief killed in NYC house blast after report of gas leak

The Fire Department of New York says Battalion Chief Michael J. Fahy has died in a Bronx house explosion after a report of a gas leak and a drug lab.
Crews responded to a report of a gas leak Tuesday morning in the Bronx and found what appeared to be a drug lab.
The two-story house then exploded.
Much of the house was completely gone, and debris covered the street and cars.
Police say six officers were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
According to authorities, firefighters had notified police after finding a drug lab. The house exploded afterward.
