Bruins Lose Preseason Opener Against Columbus in a Shootout

The Bruins opened their preseason schedule by hosting Columbus at the Garden. Jimmy Hayes and Denver University product Dalton Heinen scored goals for the Bruins. The game went to a shootout where Sam Gagner scored the winner in a 3 to 2 victory.
