Cranston lounge set to learn its fate tonight

A Cranston lounge is set to learn its fate tonight after several violent incidents.

The police department is asking the city’s Council Safety Services Committee to step in after a stabbing occurred outside the Red Lounge early Sunday morning.

The incident sent two people to the hospital.

This was the second time in recent weeks officers were called to the spot on Dyer Avenue.

They had to break up a major disturbance last month that put neighbors and police in potential danger.
