New Bedford Bay Sox Edge Ocean State Waves in Play-in Game to Make the Playoffs

‘The New Bedford Bay Sox edged the Ocean State Waves to win the play-in game to make the playoffs by a 1-0 score.  Bay Sox pitcher Brandon Schlimm pitched a terrific 8 2/3rds, allowing just five hits and striking out nine.  The Bay Sox now move on to the playoffs, facing Mystic, CT.
