One dead after fire in Providence home

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – One person is dead after a fire broke out in a Providence home Friday afternoon.

The fire broke out on Young Avenue around 3 p.m. ABC6 crews on scene saw fire fighters working on extensive damage to the second floor of the home.

Deputy Chief Kevin Dolan told ABC6 News that the house is a hoarding situation. At this time the fire is under control.
