Fall River convenience store shooter set to appear in court Monday

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE)-The shooter in a Fall River convenience store murder is set to appear in court on Monday.

Nelson Coelho, 37, allegedly shot and killed the owner of Stop N Save in Fall River on October 18. He was arrested by Fall River police on October 26.

Coelho is facing the following charges:

  • Murder
  • Armed and masked robbery
  • Carrying an illegal firearm

A criminal complaint against Coelho was filed in Fall River District Court on Thursday.
