NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I (WLNE) – Two North Smithfield men were arrested for disorderly conduct, and one for video voyeurism after police were called to the area of Iron Mine Hill Road and Sayles Hill Road Friday evening.

Mikhail Randall, 20, and his brother Danil Randall, 20, of North Smithfield, were found to be participating in photographing and videoing individuals in their homes from power lines.

Police were dispatched to the area of Sayles Hill Road after receiving a call about an unoccupied and suspicious car parked by the woodline.

When police arrived, they found Mikhail Randall exiting the woods toward the car with a camera.

When questioned by police, Mikhail Randall said that he was going up and down the power lines in the woods to film and photograph individuals in their homes.

Mikhail Randall told police that he often looks for individuals who are undressed in their homes, and a search of his camera revealed several images and videos taken by Randall of individuals.

He has since been charged with video voyeurism and disorderly conduct.

Danil Randall was not at the scene when police arrived but was charged with one count of disorderly conduct when it was discovered he had participated in the photographing and videoing of individuals with his brother.

Further investigation by North Smithfield detectives resulted in numerous digital storage devices and computers being seized from Randall’s residence.

Furthermore, videos and photographs of young women engaged in sporting activities at Deerfield Park in Smithfield were located.

This case remains an active investigation and anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Detective Nelson or Detective Donovan at (401) 762-1212.
