Ponaganset beat Prout 4 to 1 to win the third and deciding game in the Division II title series at McCoy Stadium. With the victory, the Chieftains earn their first baseball title in the 54-years they’ve been playing baseball at Ponaganset.

Billy Butler drove in a pair of runs.  Tyler Flynn was named the MVP.
