One of dozens of dogs rescued from the farm in Westport after an animal cruelty case is now up for adoption at the Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
3-year-old Betulah is in perfect health, according to Dr. Finocchio, RISPCA’s Director, but her issues are more psychological.
He says the conditions she and other animals lived in were filthy and she had little human interaction.
But, he says, she is ready to move on to a good home. She is shy, and needs an owner with lots of patience.
The RISPCA also took in Betulah’s relative, Victoria, who they say is even shyer but will be ready to go to her new home soon too.
If you are interested in adopting Betulah, you can call the RISPCA at 401-438-8150.
