Wells Fargo to ask for dismissal of SEC suit over 38 Studios

Wells Fargo Securities will ask a federal judge to dismiss a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission action accusing it of defrauding investors in Rhode Island’s $75 million deal with 38 Studios.

The video game company was started by former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling and failed in 2012.

Friday’s hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
