A crisp, cool start to Thursday!

We’ve had a beautiful and sunny start to our Thursday! However, it’s been a cool start as well– temperatures this morning are in the low to mid 40s, and we’ll only have highs in the low to mid 50s in the afternoon. It’ll be breezy as well, so keep an extra layer on hand, especially if you get cold easily!

Overnight, we’re back down into the upper 30s and low 40s before temperatures warm into the upper 50s/low 60s by the afternoon. It’ll stay mostly sunny, but expect a few clouds around eastern Bristol County (MA). Those clouds are due to a system well off the coast that will bring cloud cover, and even a stray shower or two, to the South Shore, the Cape and the Islands. However, the bulk of the activity stays well away from Bristol County & Rhode Island.

Saturday will be mostly sunny as well, with highs in the low to mid 60s– pretty much “perfect” for this time of year! Sunday will be a touch warmer, with highs in the mid to upper 60s. We’ll start out mostly sunny, but clouds will creep in later in the day. Those clouds are the precursor to showers and some periods of heavier rain that arrive with the return of low pressure on Monday.
