‘A little bittersweet’: Dog with RISPCA for two-and-a-half years adopted

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to animals will say goodbye to resident who grew to be like family to the organization’s staff.

Shelter dog Nonni, who was seized from a cruelty investigation has found a home two-and-a-half years after first arriving in Warwick.

A social media post from the RISPCA reads in part:

It’s a little bittersweet as she has formed an incredible bond with so many of us. We will miss her so much, but we are overjoyed to see her embark on this new chapter and lease on life.
