A soggy end to January

It’s a cold evening out there, but warmer weather is on the way. Temperatures will begin to rise as we get past midnight, and we’ll awake to temperatures well past the freezing mark.

Unfortunately, rain will also be moving in. This is an all-day event, starting around the AM commute and not wrapping up until nearly midnight.

Rainfall intensity will generally be on the moderate side, meaning we only amount to less than an inch (~ 0.5 – 0.75″). Highs Friday will range from 40-45°.

It’s possible we could see some wet snowflakes as the precipitation moves out Friday night and colder air moves in, but skies will clear for the start of the weekend.

Sunny skies Saturday will become gradually cloudy on Sunday, and we could see a rain or snow shower Sunday night. We then kick off the first work day of February in a warm way – around 50°!
