A St. Patrick’s Day soaker

Periods of heavy rain will be around through this morning and then taper to lighter rain for the afternoon and finally wind down as showers and drizzle this evening. Temperatures will hold fairly steady in the mid and upper 50s until a cold front works its way to the east coast this evening. Clouds and temperatures in the upper 30s to near 40 will start our Tuesday morning off, but the sky will clear into the afternoon with highs reaching the lower half of the the 50s.

We’ll have another delightful day Wednesday with highs again in the lower 50s. Then, the Vernal equinox arrives at 5:01am Thursday and we’ll see sunshine mixing with clouds and highs in the mid 50s. The next threat of wet weather arrives Thursday night and continues into Friday with a chilly rain as highs only reach the mid 40s.
